David Sancious, a pianist, guitarist and composer known for his work with Sting, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Eric Clapton and Seal, will perform on Monday, September 20th as part of the Annie O. Music Series with The Cooper Square Hotel. Sancious will perform selections from his current and past CDs and will also improvise on keyboards and guitar.
Since 1974, Sancious has recorded several albums of original compositions expressing his diverse musical influences and interests. Joe Bonadio, renowned drummer, percussionist and producer, will accompany David.
The Annie O. Music Series is a monthly musical showcase for musicians around the city and the world. Curated by former music publicist Annie Ohayon, the series is open to the public and attendance is first-come, first-served.
Drinks are available for purchase at the bar. The concerts take place in The Cooper Square Hotel's scenic 21st floor penthouse, which provides a breathtaking backdrop and 360-degree views of New York.
